The mobile application allows for real-time tracking of the progress of the route and communication with the driver on a mobile device. It also includes the ability for the user to add notes, photos and signatures at the point being completed.

The Routimo driver mobile app is available for both Android and iOS devices. To install the app on an Android device:

  1. Launch the application [Play Store]
  2. Search for [Routimo] app
  3. Click on the application name and logo to display the application card
  4. Click [Install] and run the application

To install the application on an iOS device:

  1. Launch the application [App Store]
  2. Search for [Routimo] app
  3. Click on the application name and logo to display the application card
  4. Click [Download] and run the application

After starting the application, a message will appear regarding application permissions and their storage. Allow the application to use location [Always allow] - this will avoid problems with viewing the route in real time from the system level. Also allow the use of multimedia - this applies to the ability to add photos. To use the application without any problems, Internet access is required.

To fully use the application's functionality, it is necessary to pair the device with the route planning system [app.routimo.com]. There are two ways to pair the device. More detailed descriptions in the [Mobile users] tab. For the first installation, pairing will be performed from the level of the first project created.

  1. From the mobile application, go to [Settings] at the top of the phone screen
  2. Select the blue tile [QR Code]
  3. Scan the [QR Code] located in the created project in the [Vehicles] tab next to the vehicle options.
  4. The message [Device activation completed successfully] will appear at the bottom of the screen on your mobile device.

From the [Daily plan] tab on a mobile device, an action bar is visible: [Date], [Hide completed]/[Show all] - point view switch, [Refresh data] and the [More] drop-down box. Description in point 5. Additional.


Points on the [Daily Plan] are visible after confirming the route from the system level (e.g. on a computer) after entering the [Routes - Map] tab and clicking the [Send to phone] tile. Description in the Route Planning tab. The view presents the entire "route" for the specified day, i.e. the time of planned implementation, the address of the point and the name of the point. After a single click on the point, detailed information is displayed - phone number (if provided) and comment.

Depending on the list view you set in the [Settings] and [Comprehensive list view] tabs, you can complete tasks in two ways, by dragging the tile with information about the point to the left or by double-clicking on the tile. You can also add a note, photos or a signature. Below the note adding field, there are two buttons [Not completed] - when the task has not been completed and [Completed] - when the task has been completed. If you move the tile with the task to the right, you will see two functions [Navigate to point], which will redirect you to the [GoogleMaps] navigation and start navigation; and [Cancel task], which cancels the task, i.e. removes it from the route plan. Before permanently canceling the task, you can add a note, photos or a signature visible from the system level.
Tasks can be completed in any order, however, from the point of view of minimizing the distance traveled or time, it is recommended to complete them in the order resulting from optimization.

[Hide Completed]/[Show All] - point view switch - task view management function on [Daily Agenda]. The [Show All] view in the action bar means only the view of planned points. After switching and the [Hide Selected] view in the action bar, all tasks for the given day are displayed.

[Refresh data] – route update function. In case of changes made to the route from the [app.routimo.com] system, refreshing the data ensures that the route is updated on the mobile device.

[More] – under the “3 dots” icon there are functions:

  1. [Route View] – a function that shows the entire route on the map, along with tasks marked with pins. In green – completed, in red – canceled, in blue – planned for completion. Exit the route view to [Daily Plan] using the system back button of the device being used.
  2. [Vehicle Loading] – specifies the vehicle's load capacity, which will allow you to plan routes whose total weight of shipments does not exceed a specified limit. Load capacity is a parameter available in the Professional package.   3. [Change delay] – a function that allows the driver to manually enter a delay on the route before the point is realized. Resulting from, for example, traffic jams or a random event.
