Working with registers

You can adjust the view settings in the individual tabs to your needs, so that the information most important to you is displayed. This is very helpful in the case of a large number of points and vehicles, but also if you value the ability to customize the work view at your own discretion.

You can adjust the view settings in the individual tabs to your needs, so that the information most important to you is displayed. This is very helpful in the case of a large number of points and vehicles, but also if you value the ability to customize the work view at your own discretion.

In each register with columns you can change the view, starting with hiding columns, which is the ability to temporarily remove columns that you do not use to improve the visibility of those that are important to you. You can also move the order of columns as you wish. If you decide to restore columns, just click the checkbox next to the column or restore all with one click. The columns will return to their place.

As in the case of hiding columns, each register has been equipped with the option of filtering the content contained in them. You can save the set filter and use it whenever you need it. If you want to check which points have not been planned yet in the [Points Database] register, all you have to do is press the "funnel" in the [Status] column and then select the [Unplanned] status from the list. The created filter will be visible on the right side of the screen with information about what has been filtered. You can clear or save the filter. Saving the filter involves giving it a name, you can select it as default or not. The saved filter will be visible in the [Saved filters] tab. The filter is set and saved in the register in which it was created. The next time you want to check which points have the [Unplanned] status, all you have to do is go to [Saved filters] and click on the name of the created filter. You can delete an unused filter at any time.

How the page layout will look in Routimo depends on you. You can adjust the window view to your own needs depending on how you like to work. The settings tab, which is located in each register in the upper right corner, comes in handy. If you like to work on a large map, you can open it in a second window. If you have a lot of vehicles in the [Vehicle Database] register and you don't need the map, you can turn it off. You can split the window vertically or horizontally. In each layout, you can turn on the map view for the entire window or turn it off. We have presented practical solutions in the video below.

When working with a map, it happens that markers indicating the position of points are so close to each other that they obscure each other, making work difficult. Sometimes it also happens that there are several tasks to be performed at one address and it is impossible to choose the right one. "Multipoints" come to the rescue - a solution that dynamically groups points that are close to each other. The multipoint icon differs from the typical point marker - it has a different shape, the number informs about the number of points in the multipoint, and the color depends on the number of grouped points. Clicking on the multipoint displays a list with information about the points in the multipoint.
